Adolescent DBT Programs

The Koch Center’s DBT Program treats teens with a variety of diagnoses including anxiety, depression, OCD, BPD, self-harm/impulse disorders, and eating disorders.  Our Adolescent DBT Program for 8th-12th graders teaches the full set of DBT Skills, reinforcing them throughout the week. Adolescents in our DBT program must be in weekly individual therapy (at The Koch Center or with their own outside therapist).

Monday Night Adolescent DBT Program (Waldwick location)
5:15-6:45 DBT Multifamily Skills Group (skills taught to parent(s) as well as adolescent)
Wednesday Night Adolescent DBT Program (Waldwick location)
7:30-9:00 Adolescent DBT Skills & Diary Card Group
8:00-9:00 Parent DBT Skills Group

Any adolescents with ‘Target One’ urges or behaviors will be required to attend weekly individual DBT sessions with one of The Koch Center’s DBT therapists. Adolescents are encouraged to continue with their existing outside therapist in addition to the individual DBT sessions.
